Hoop Prodigy Select is a team featuring players that are dedicated to excelling in basketball.

 

We have created an innovative program that focuses on player development, athletic performance & nutrition

 

In addition, we have an experienced & acclaimed staff to teach, support & develop elite players. 

PRACTICE, TOURNEY'S & EVENT SCHEDULE

Players interested in joining HP Select are welcome to come to any practice or workout and tryout for the team. Please contact us and let us know you're coming, we look forward to meeting you! If you have any questions or inquiries feel free to call, text, or email. 

Practices & Workouts are schedules every Tuesday & Saturday. Tournaments are scheduled frequently and this does affect the schedule. Please contact us to confirm weekly practice schedules.

COACHING STAFF

Scott Sinek

Coach Sinek grew up in Orange County playing basketball starting in the 3rd grade.  He graduated from Servite High School in 1981 where he set the school scoring record, was 1st Team All CIF, All Orange County, and the North Orange County Player of the Year. In 2005 he was inducted into Servite's Hall of Fame. He received a scholarship to play Division 1 basketball at BYU where he was a 4 year starter.

 

His coaching career has included numerous years at the youth level as well as being a high school Head Varsity Coach for 4 years. He has also coached several AAU Club teams at various ages including an Elite 17U team for the past two years.

Evan Barry

Coach Barry grew up in Orange County, and started playing basketball in 3rd grade within the NJB organization. He graduated from Katella High School in 2000. Coach Barry is entering his 7th year as a high school coach where he has held roles as a Head Coach at the Frosh and JV level, and as an Assistant Coach at the Varsity level.

Eddie Andrade

Coach Eddie Andrade grew up playing basketball in Los Angeles and played basketball at Roosevelt High School in Boyle Heights. He was captain of his senior year team and ran track for 2 years at Roosevelt. Eddie has been coaching basketball for the last 6 years, ranging from youth teams to High School Varsity teams. He is passionate about teaching kids the importance of developing their overall basketball IQ, as well as their skills on the court. 

Max Jimenez

Max Jimenez Jr.

Been coaching and working with youth development in basketball skills and fundamentals for the past 10yrs.  grades K- High school. Coached NJB All Net for the last 5yrs.
